Moxfield imports create a deck in ScryDeck from a public deck URL. ScryDeck fetches the list on our servers (browser requests to Moxfield’s API are blocked by CORS), matches cards you already own, and fills gaps with not-owned placeholders.
-
Get a public deck URL
Open your deck on Moxfield and copy the link — it should look like `moxfield.com/decks/…`.
The deck must be public. Private decks cannot be fetched by ScryDeck’s import service.
-
Import in ScryDeck
Go to Collection → Import → Moxfield. Paste the URL and tap Import deck.
On success, ScryDeck opens the new deck so you can review mainboard, commander, and sideboard slots.
-
How cards are matched
For each slot, ScryDeck looks for an owned or proxy copy in your loose collection or binders. If found, that copy moves into the deck.
Unmatched slots become need (not owned) placeholders — useful for seeing what you still need to acquire.
-
Troubleshooting
Deck not found — check that the URL is correct and the deck is public.
Empty deck errors — re-save the list on Moxfield if it recently changed.
Network blocks — some networks or VPNs cause Moxfield to reject server requests; try again on another connection.
